    OT: Bad TV

I dont have cable, and I have slipped down a spiral of watching awful TV shows. To make matters worse, I have even started liking these shows. I had lots of homework this past semester, so I spent many weekends at home, and I got addicted to some bad shows, such as: Mutant X, Andromeda, WWF Smachdown, Buffy, Angel, Stargate, VIP, Beastmaster, and the worst of all, a show called "The Immortal". Oh my God, that show is awful. Does anyone else watch these terrible shows, and do they have the marbles to admit it?

No marbles here....just stones! Buffy and WWF rule the airwaves. I don't know what the heck you were thinking looking at the rest of that garbage.

Seriously, dude....Mutant X and The Immortal!? I hope you are kind hearted enough not to wish your life on anyone!

    South Park DVDs

    Simpsons DVDs

Unfortunately both shows have begun to suck somewhat. The Simpsons hasn't been at the top of it's game for at least 4 years, and I've only liked about 1/2 the South Parks that came out this year.

Figures that a swede wouldn't understand the brilliance of King of the Hill. Honestly, I wonder if people even as close as New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, or Mexico's border states can figure it out. It's just so TEXAN.

Which is of course, A Good Thing.

    Kevin,
Welcome to looserville. I'm the mayor. It's nice to have a new neighbor.

You have found the only good shows on TV left. All of those shows come on LATE Saturday night and Sunday morning. My wife and I have gotten into the habbit of making a bed on the floor of our living room Saturday nights, curling up with the UberHound, and staying up until 4am watching the only good TV there is.

Now if we can just get our favorite show, the one we actually stay home for, Angel, to come on Saturday nights we'd be set.

    Wink

Buffy and Angel are great shows and deserve much better than to be uttered in the same breath as VIP.

But considering the kind of movies I watch, who am I to judge?

BTW (Sorry to hijack this thread, also):
Has anyone seen the movie "Hard as Nails"? (If anyone jokingly makes any porn references about the title, be warned that you are not far from the truth) This question is mostly to Ap Oweyn, because it is a horrible direct-to-video MA release.

Ap, if you're reading this and have not seen the movie, go rent it now. It's a must see, and you will regret it (not a typo).
