I learnt a similar form and it looks like a nanquan basic form.
My version was played slower and with more purposeful breathing, similat to sanchin.

Looks more like Hung Gar Tiger Crane...

For Cynthia at Shaolin, check out our 1996 February/March cover.

It's true, you can buy a belt at Shaolin, but it doesn't mean anything. Shaolin doesn't use a belt ranking system.

    busted ribs? fair enough.

If I had to demonstrate with busted ribs, I'd blast through the form as fast as possible to get off the freaking stage as fast as possible.

Could Royce do that? I think not.

WTF? How did we go from the White Haired Devil strangling and beating guys to death in a teahouse, to Mr Miyagi and Jhoon Rhee?

Looks like WuShu lots of show no go...How many times do you need to repeat the same technique. Boring form.

It did seem to me that there were a lot of purposeless moves. I saw a "Karate vs Kung Fu" viddy on youtube and the kung fu guy was ok, but he did a lot of "hands waving in air" technique. When you saw the closeup, it did not look like the hands would have had any purpose if applied - just moving around fast.
I can see imitating close up moves of course, but it should be a actual move and not just generating wind unless that is your weapon.
But I don't know this girl and I understand some people like her.
