this is Shi Yongwen's book. he has also been a student of Degen.

    少林寺武术教材(释永文编著)

    * pp.104-236 is on Luohan Quan, pp.104-8 gives a description, pp.109-183 demonstrates a 1lu luohan quan (it's small luohan plus an additional part quite different from Liu Zhenhai's 2nd VCD), p.184-5 is on some Luohan quans, zui luohan quan, etc, possibly from Degen, or another 18lu system, p.186-7 is on big luohan quan, it's two parts, seems to be the extended version, i.e., jin tong luohan plus the additional part, p.188-90 is on luohan 18 hands, xian tian 18 Shou. from p.191 on it goes into some deep description parts, i don't know what they are.

interestingly, pp.237-303 is on ZhaoYang quan, it must have good information on ChaoYang, GuanChao, and ZhoYang quan, which were the subject of discussion previously in this thread.

There's a lot of information in that book! It'll take a while to read through it all. I skipped ahead to the Xiantian Luohan Shiba Shou, which it says is one of the many popular Luohan sets outside of the monastery. By the description it appears to be some sort of Qigong set.

The original Luohan Shiba Shou is also the 8 section brocade made into 12 sections, by Baiyufeng, which is called the Yi Jin Jing sometimes. It is the 12 section qigong set that is super important as it is the original material that Taoist 13 Postures Quan was developed from and other styles.

Sal, attributing sooooooo many styles, Qigong sets, basics. etc, etc, just to Bai Yufeng, Jue yuan, and Li Sou, seems as fictitious as attributing soooooo many other things to Bodhidharma.
they're said to have got most all those material from the library of Shaolin temple and combining them with the material from outside. even in this case, still the number of material attributed to them is much more than believable.

Its not really that much, look at the list from that Shaolin Quanbu that was passed on from their time to the 1970s, it shows a LOT of sets, most of them are Luohan, Wu Quan, and Rou Quan material. Not other stuff.

Its documented in Zhang Songxi's line of Taoist Neijia Quan that their material was developed after their founder was impressed by the Shaolin 12 section brocade-Luohan Shiba Shou qigong.
