I'd rather not say on a public forum but it is one of the major universities in Manhattan.

yeah, I'm starting to see why giving him the benefit of the doubt might have been a waste of time...

...so, one could actually go around NY and every night do one free class with each gym and rotate like that again every other month.
no one would know... or would they?

any idea how many gyms there are in NY? Well, gyms, kwoons, dojos... whatever?

Well I've gotten a bunch of positive email replies from the BJJ club at my uni and the beauty is that there is no charge. I just signed up at the fitness club up the street ($70/month) from me and they have a boxing bag and a muy thai bag so I can work my cardio and get some bag work in.

    Thanks for the info.

My first MMA club was free, and I learned a sh1tload. Should be fun for you.

BJJ is not the only art in NYC that can teach good groundwork.

NYC Combat Sambo is a good school and they have people who compete in MMA also. Also unlike BJJ, combat sambo has significant stand up.
