    Actually, when I said what I said, I did not have the concept of "chi" in my mind - I was only referring to the physical actions and their given concepts and principles, as scientific.

    Not surprised to see the Wing Chun fighter sticking to centerline " straight march into his opponent's matadorian adaptability". If there's one thing that Bruce Lee confirmed is that sportfighting using WingChun base can only be successful by adaptation.

    Some good points on root.... most people talk about structure, not so much about rooting and you need rooting to have good structure.

    And I like what he says about squatting not having the same effect... as sitting in ygkym..
