    Is this anything?

    Hi there!

I have a bunch of old mantis books I bought as a kid in Chinatown many years ago, despite never having studied any mantis fist. Now, I want to clear out some space at home, so am thinking of disposing of them some way.

Ideally I'd like these to go to someone who practices mantis fist and can actually use these. I think I paid around $5 for each of these, so would be happy just getting that sum back, and the buyer could pay for postage. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so please feel free to delete my post if it isn't.

Please PM me if you're interested. Thanks for your time!

    Hello Gowgee,

Those books ARE something. Last year, just one of those "white books" went for over one hundred dollars on ebay. And it was not in as good condition as the ones you have.

My consultation fee is 5% of your total sale.

    Hi Mickey,

Thanks for your advice. If you're ever in Tokyo, let me know so I can buy you lunch.

Thanks to everyone who contacted me on these. I'd like to make a bit off these to fund my training but don't want to rip anyone off, so suggest $15 - 20 each volume. If you're still interested, please PM me.

Someone may have been foolish enough to have paid that much, but I don't feel it was a wise buy.

Many of the books can be purchased at Plum Publications for under $10. I am only missing a couple out of the set. After seeing a friend's copies of the ones I am missing, I don't even care. They weren't even worth the $10 to me.

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for your patience. As I said earlier, these are all going to Holymantis if he wants them. I still have to figure out postage etc, but they have found a new home.
