Taoist Journey into Qigong and Internal Alchemy
Join us this September 2009 for an unforgettable, healing, transformational, life changing journey to sacred Mount Wudang to explore the Taoist arts of Tao Yoga, Qigong, and Taoist Internal Alchemy Meditation in the sacred Wudang Mountains. We will take part in intensive daily training, have lectures with local Taoist Masters from Purple Heaven Palace and the Golden Top Temple, and hike in the majestic natural beauty of Holy Mount Wudang. Our theme will be to explore the Three Regulations of Body/ Breath / Heart-Mind and use them as a means to gain self transformation, self empowerment, healing and proper growth in our self cultivation practice. This exploration will take place through the learning of complete methods of practice from the Taoist arts of Tao Yoga, Qigong and Taoist Internal Alchemy Meditation. We shall as a group seek to uncover our True Heart and Inner Nature; cultivating the Tao together and bringing our selves into a profound state of harmony and balance ? seeking to become one with Heaven and Earth. Wu Dang Tai Chi Jian (Sword) Intensive Workshop With Master Yun Xiang Tseng
WuDang Tai Chi Sword form is a classical form developed by Zhang San Feng, the originator of Tai Chi. Sword form is a signature of WuDang. This unique form consists of 65 movements. During this intensive Master Yun Xiang Tseng (Chen) will impart the original form and include supporting exercises to build and strengthen ones Tai Chi foundation. Section I of the form will be taught followed by section II in the latter part of the year.
About Master Yun Xiang Tseng: He is of a 14th Generation Zhang San Feng Lineage Carrier. A child prodigy, at a tender age of six, he was taken from his home town to WuDang Mountain and taught the ancient Taoist Healing Arts by esteemed grandmasters. The youngest Enlightened Master, at the age of 16 he left the mountain to preserve the oral teaching by spreading the internal healing arts to the west. His training included austere measures both in cave practice and meditation and in the Temple . With the high degree of training he transmuted jing to chi, chi to shen at a very young age and now functions on a multidimensional intuitive level. His unfathomable insights through meditation and internal martial arts practice provide for profound teachings, which he translates and communicates with great patience and sense of humor.

Plum Blossom Drunken Fist Workshop
Plum Blossom Drunken Fist of the Eight Immortals system represents the essence of the Brass Hall teachings. Eight Immortals Kung Fu is taught on three levels: Fighting Skill, Drunken Shape and Inner Cultivation. Plum Blossom Drunkards Boxing is one of the core Drunken Shape skills. This form teaches proper body mechanics within the Eight Immortals curriculum along with a multitude of close range, grappling and sneak techniques.
Class will begin with section #1 of Pure Yang Chi Gung series, used to stimulate the body and inner organs.

Dr. Yang teaches the ancient art of Embryonic Breathing Qigong, which is the key to attaining extraordinary health, re-opening the third eye, and striving for true enlightenment. Dr. Yang has spent decades translating ancient documents about embryonic breathing into English for the first time, and his western scientific background as a Ph.D in physics offers a unique understanding from both an Eastern and Western perspective. Sunday, September 20th: Four Seasons Qigong with Dr. Yang.
Four Seasons Qigong (Si Ji Gong) is a traditional medical Qigong practice in which you learn to regulate the body from one season to the next to avoid common illnesses. This Qigong uses basic Five Elements theory, and specializes in training the five internal Yin organs; heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and spleen, which correspond to the four seasons the year. By practicing Four Seasons Qigong, you are able to adjust your bodys Qi during the change of seasons so your health can be maintained. Dr. Yang will instruct Qigong exercises and self-massage, and the related healing sounds. This class includes standing and moving Qigong.

- Each Team should bring along their National Anthem in a CD and National Flag.
