Chinese Swordsmanship Seminar in Brattleboro, Vermont
We are proud to announce our 11th New England Area Chinese Swordsmanship Seminar, taught by Sifu Scott M. Rodell. This event will take place on the weekend of December 5th & 6th, at the Brattleboro School of Budo. There is a link below with more detailed information and directions to the dojo. The seminar curriculum will include: the review and refinement of the basic cuts inherent in the Yang teachings, applications culled from the taijiquan sword forms, group movements, 2-person partners exercises, proper footwork and stepping, cultivating movement from the center (dantian), offensive and defensive strategies and free-play bouting with wooden jian swords (and protective equipment). The cost of this seminar is $175.00 for two days and $90.00 for a single day. We begin training at 9:00 AM and finish at 5:00 PM. This seminar is open to beginners and seasoned martial artists, alike. Please register early, as attendance is limited to 20 students. For more details, feel free to contact me via email or phone. Shaolin Martial Arts Show
The Chicago Shaolin Temple has invited some masters from the Shaolin Temple in Henan, China to come demonstrate kung fu and hard qigong.
