ICMAC Worldwide Circuit - The Bahamas International Chinese Martial Arts Championship
On December 4-6, 2009 the first ICMAC World Championship was held at the magnificent Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas Nick Scrima and Kent Bazard co-hosted the event.
There could not have been a more perfect setting or time of year for this championship and we are confident that this will become a World Famous tournament and the premier event in the ICMAC circuit.
This tournament was sort of a trial run as we had no qualifying events outside of the United States for the 2009 competition season. Nevertheless, we had teams from as far away as Azerbaijan attend the event. Other competitors came from Panama, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Algeria, Bermuda, Jamaica and of course the US and the Bahamas.
The sun, the emerald ocean waters, great food and sightseeing opportunities are sure to make the 2010 ICMAC World Championship next December an event not to be missed.
We want to thank you all the judges, competitors, spectators and volunteers for making this event a success.
Mark you calendar for December 10-12, 2010 and remember that you must attend one of the qualifying tournaments and place among the Top Ten spots in order to compete for World Titles in the advanced categories. However: the championship will be open to all competitors.
