I caught the end of Five Fingers of Death (1972) on El Rey's Mutton for Punishment Chinese New Year Kung Fu Marathon this morning over breakfast. I heard that klaxon sound when Lo Lieh's hands turn red and was like "I know that!" but couldn't put my finger on it (pun intended). I knew it was the opening of an old TV show. It hit me on the commute and I rushed to this thread, only to find mickey was way ahead of me on this.
