Not quite as relevant to this weekend as the previous two...perhaps on a personal level only.

This one resonates with our WildAid Tiger Claw Champion.
There is one mistake in the article that need correction.
In the article it mentioned Dong Yinjie and said "Dong Yinjie (1891–1960 董英杰), one of my grandfather’s senior disciples". This is incorrect. Since the article is an interview of Yang Jun, it seems to imply Dong Yinjie is the student of Yang Zhenduo. In fact, Dong YinJie is one of the senior disciples of Yang Chengfu (杨澄甫), and is the main person who help Yang Chengfu put together his famous Yang Style Tai Chi book "太極拳使用法". Dong's grandsons are now have practice in Los Angeles (Tung Kai Ying 董繼英) and Hawaii (Dong Zeng Cheng 董增辰).
The correct statement should be "Dong Yinjie (1891–1960 董英杰), one of my great grandfather’s senior disciples"
I suspect it was an artifact of Yang Jun being ESL. His English is quite good, but he still makes the occasional slip. I'm always at odds when it comes to correcting direct quotes. In fact, with this interview, there was much discussion about whether it was appropriate to include all of the parenthesized articles like [the] and [a] as Chinese speakers generally drop those when speaking English because articles like these don't exist in Chinese. My general stance is to remain as true to what was actually said as possible. But you are correct - in this case, perhaps I should have qualified that statement somehow or just inserted the 'great'.
Anyway, here's today's fb meme.

I'd post this on our July 1999 thread too if we had one, but we didn't have this forum back then.
