    Don't jump the gun, Vash

Our official on stand date is 6/1/4 and there's some delay at individual locations for the vendors to stock their shelves, so if it's a long drive, I'd give it until the 2nd week of June, just to be safe.

Thanks for warning me. I was gonna drive out there tommorrow after crotty class.

I'll try out there around the 2nd, as they usually have them out pretty early.

Crap, I need to stop being so cheap and order a subscription.

    cheap?

You said it, not I. Actually it's cheaper if you subscribe - but we've already sent our subscriber's issues out, so if you do subscribe, you'd have to order the Shaolin special in edition to your subscription. Or just drive out to Wally World....

So, I haven't gotten mine yet... but it usually takes an extra day now that I live 20 miles outside of town...lol. Look forward to it, but Gene, two Shaolin Specials in 6 months.....

Yes, I actually get paid this Friday, so I'm going to go ahead and subscribe then. Even going to get it before I renew my Men's Health subscription.

It's fun living so far below the poverty line the government pays your taxes!!!

    NP

Actually, it's two Shaolin Specials in 8 months, and the last one was the first in 20 months. We do it annually. I had a lot of research from my last Shaolin trip and had originally planned sort of a trilogy - the Shaolin Special 2003 was about Shaolin and Dengfeng; the Shaolin Special 2004 is about Shaolin overseas; the Shaolin Special 2005 may be about inner temple stuff. But now I'm not sure I will do the third part - depends on how it goes with this one. We'll see, I have a year or so to figure it out.

So far so good. I really liked Dechengs explinations of everything. Finally someone getting published saying that buddha is in the heart, and that just because you adapt to a lifestyle, doesn't mean that you are no longer "Shaolin."

Thanks for the kind words, NP.

Should we start our traditional issue review on our Media forum or jsut keep it here (as if we could control where people post... )

In my system, sashes are higher ranking then belts. The highest ranking belts are these but they are reserved for my bevy of got qi? ninjettes.
