I've watched a couple of his things.
His Iron body skills are good and his teaching is sound and he's willing to demonstrate any of it without using his own students.
I don't know the guy, but I'd say he's gotten some good training in traditional chinese martial arts.
Kung Fu is good for you.
he's got some decent training, but his drunken looks like most modern versions-all concentrationg on the drunkeness movements, and not on the actual substance, which IME is locking, point striking and throwing, with the drunkeness thrown in to give it the flavor.

Good Intro video. Covers standard northern hand skills well.
Hi, my name is Lee - new to the forum, I hope to find other people interested in Drunken Kung Fu (some say it doesn't exist but then they haven't met my Shifu!). Drunken Boxing is actually quite cool! I am involved in a martial arts school that teaches Drunken Kung Fu to students all over the world. Those of us who are fortunate enough to be able to travel to Canada train full time (35-40 hours a week) with Shifu Ripski, but there is also a new Online Drunken Boxing Course that he is teaching the whole style on - nothing held back. It is cheap too - $15(usd) per month - so everybody can get involved and check it out. Maybe I will see you there? http://www.drunkenboxing.redjademartialarts.com
i dont know if you know this, but red jade in chinese means "bloody penus"

I was so much into drunken mantis
but one has to be very and very drunk to be good or wild at it.
it never works for me
If I drink a lot, I passed out.
so my mantis is sober and pretending to be drunk
what is the application to that staff pose with the staff dragging on the ground, one leg up and doing the drinking thing????
