Points being that there are only so many ways to make an effective punch, and there are are lot more similarities than some people think.

All of them. The first is Laam Choi and is a common TCMA hooking type punch. The second, Yut Gee Choi or vertical fist is another common TCMA punch. The third is Ping Choi or horizontal fist also a common to "ALL" TCMA styles. Notice how I said all TCMA styles !
