    Is this the same as The World Cup Sanshou tournament? I don't think so because of the Savate.

    It's Wednesday evening, and there's some seriously awesome combat sports streaming live and free on YouTube. What a time to be alive. Thanks to Reddit's DanP and Twitter's Jolassandra (see below), we're now privy to the Kung Fu World Cup, a mixed combat sports event including savate (French kickboxing), Kung Fu and MMA. Yes, below these words we have almost five hours of awesome action (with quite a bit of high production value) to absorb into our thirsty brains. Let's dive in.

    The most interesting part is their hybrid MMA rules:

    If the fight goes to the ground, you have a limited amount of time to submit your opponent, or the fight is stood back up by the ref.

    The first fight had a head kick knockout. Note the shoes and pants, which under this ruleset (savate/kung fu) are allowed:
