Yeah... the entire time Bush was in office, OBL was there. Now, as you note yourself, that assertion is PAST tense. Because he's dead. Dead as a ****ing doornail.

And as for your earlier assertion, we now have Al Qaeda at a point where they urinate on themselves at the sight of anything larger than a house cat flying in the sky. Bush, however, made **** sure Saddam Hussein, who was weakened and pretty much irrelevant, was hung by the Al Sadr Army, a known terrorist and killer of rival Imams.

Rewrite this **** all you want, man, but I was there.

The same way white guilt from slavery made you vote for the first black president who had little to no experience governing. Good point, master killer. You are wrong about Isreal so you should stop typing before your truest stupidity shows.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.”

I think his point was that the problem with democracy is that people tend to be self-serving and because of that, they will vote for the one that will serve their interest and not that of the WHOLE of society the best.
Of course elected officials will NOT serve them anyways, but serve those that financed their election (prioritize).
A candidate with a platform of government reform and fiscal prudence will NOT be elected when going against one that promises to increase government spending on services to the people, even if the government HAS NO money for such.
