Qigong (pronounced chi-kung) is an ancient Chinese energy (Chi) practice. Qi means energy. Qigong is a self-healing art that combines movement and meditation. Visualizations are employed to enhance the mind/body connection and assist healing. With the use of special mantras, mudras, and images, this qigong uses universal energy, or qi, to regulate the functions of the Water (Kidneys). Other effects include enhancing of intellectual ability, strength, and flexibility. Continual practice is especially beneficial in overcoming disease related to the reproductive organs. Grandmaster Yuanming Zhang is a 7th generation lineage holder of Mt. Emei Qigong, 17th generation successor of Mt. Wudang Longmen School, 8th generation lineage holder of Mt. Qingcheng Bagua, 6th generation lineage holder of Hebei Xingyi Boxing. He is also a lineage holder of Mt. Wudang sword, a master of Shaolin fist and sword, a master calligrapher, feng shui practitioner and a Professor of Chinese Medicine.
