YA: ill check the details on the fredwreck cd, i dont know everything yet. he posts on the DPGrecordz forum, since he has his own board there. ppl can ask him questions on beatmaking & other interesting things. so ill check there.

I think the game may have landed a bit roughly outside of Japan but it CERTAINLY has a considerable number of fans,there might be a sequel to come.

Going mainstream usually means dropping your standards. Non-Musicians cannot appreciate a complex, deep, good funk track as much a producer like myself. The Masses want simple bleeps and blips, just look at all the mainstream crap thats floating on top of the water as we speak...****e! all of it! Thats why Eminem is on the rise as a producer and no longer an emcee.

all mainstream aint bad. You may b right saying that producers/musicians appriciates deeper or more complex music. But that don't mean all the rest suck. Some have quality, being good lyricists or whatever but not using his/hers whole potential.
I've noticed that the more original artists are great forever, while the usual mainstream rappers tracks are soon forgotten. If ppl get tired of it, it means it's not all that good

Crooked I is sic, many think he will be the one to bring it back to the West. Sorta like the next Tupac, only a way different style. I've heard some of his trax, and he is talented enough to do many different styles. Haven't heard anything about his cd droppin, or Kurupts, and being on Suge's label, who knows when it'll drop.
Speaking of producers, I like Dre's beats, and some of Em's beats. Em has some promise.
Another producer who's tight is Alchemist.
Dj Shadow is tight as CPA mentioned, and so is Dj Honda, but I haven't heard much from him lately.
I like Freck wreck's beats a lot.

Fred's cd will be dropping very soon, it will be in january. but since its through the independent label, be sure to order it in time if you want it. its not sumthin youll seein every music store. als be on the lookout on his site, audio updates will drop soon.

Good luck with the army, homie. I should be joining the Marines sometime early next year. I was going to set a date in october but a few things came up. I have yet to set a date this time 'round, because I have a few things I need to take care of before I go.
But I will be going in as a reservist. They train the same as active marines, go to the same boot camp, soldier school, and training, only difference is, I get to go home after all the training. Then I only have to show up one weekend a month, two weeks a year. But all together training can take 6 to 8 months.

Well, techically I'm at fault here. Its a remix w/o the permission of the original composers. So I'm not allowed to distribute the track. I don't really care if people download my album, hell, I perfer that. It gets my name out, so when I decide to play some shows, people will have already heard of me. When I release my next LP, I'm gonna have someone host it and let everyone on KFO download it for free. Heres the equation:
1 download=10 listeners
I'm not going to release it for a couple of months, because I'd like Chase's cut of "Da Blue" to put on the LP. I also have to touch up some other tracks with emcees. I'm gonna let ya'll meet my resident MC's, Quick Witted MC's, they are some talented cats.
Its three MC's: Ray C, Lyrics Mischievious, Empathy...all equally talented in different ways.

RAP NEWS/RUMOURS:
Crooked-I may be leaving Death Row. the internet is swimming over with rumours of Crooked I's abandoning the label he has been so loyal to for over 3 years, while they have still not released his album. on the death row official website, his bio has been taken down on the artist roster page, and his picture has been placed at the bottom, instead of being right next to pac's bio, as it used to. his board on their forum has been taken down too.
so, where will we see this cat next? Aftermath/Shady? Def Jam? Rap-A-Lot? Murder Inc? who knows. only time will tell.
one thing is for sure, this will be the doom for Death Row Records & Marion "Suge" Knight. theres a limit to how many Pac ripoffs they can keep releasing.

For the first time in almost a year, I'll be eating . . . cake and ice cream. I'd given up sweets, with the exception of egg nog (which I must shortly drive to Wal-Mart to procure). I've got to eat at both my mother's house, THEN at my girlfriend's place of business.

BTW, if you haven't seen Paycheck yet, don't bother. It certainly doesn't suck, but it's just hard to get into.

Also dropped one gram of Glucosamine Sulfate about an hour ago, a 550mg tablet of Naproxen Sodium immediately before I got in, and another gram of Glucosamine Sulfate after the bath.
I always take two grams of the glucosamine in the morning, but I started taking them at night just before my rib got a lot better really quick . . . then my gf and my little brother decided they'd had enough of that . . .

Had four peeps in my morning class today. All under the age of 8. Guess what these little holligans did . . .
They paid attention.
They did what I told them to do, as best as they could.
They actually seemed to retain what I showed them.
Just went over the basic ready position, stepping, and the left and right forward seisan stances.
Goodness. Not used to kids behaving and learning. Strange.
Thank God I didn't have to do Seisan again.

I've been quite busy these days. I've been making beats, doing splashing hands, and going to the gym these days. I'm tryin' to get on my A-Game. That was my New Year's resolution.
My beats have raised from a C- to about a B-Game on my new track "connections". Its heavly influenced by El-P's style. I've been listening to a lot of co-flow and funcrusher plus. I've also been listening to a lot of jazz. Yin=jazz; Yang=techie hip hop beats...:D
